The boardgame is said to be the "new game in town that everyone's talking about," according to the CW. "It's all about the 4 G's: Girlfriends, Guys, and Gossip Girl" states the creators of the boardgame. The game is advertised as being able to "join Serena, Blair, Nate, Chuck and the rest of the "in" crowd to answer questions about School, Style, Dating, Family, and Gossip. Season Four Finale Floors Fans

On May 16th the season finale of Gossip Girl aired on the CW. The highly anticipated episode definitely wowed viewers with unsuspected surprise guests and events. The season ended with Chuck Bass's (Ed Westwick) heartbreaking decision to step aside and let the love of his life, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), begin her new life as a Princess-to-be with her fiancé, Prince Louis (Hugo Becker). Meanwhile, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), travelled to sunny Los Angeles, where she was offered a fantastic summer job working for an A-List Hollywood director just as viewers discovered that Serena's cousin, Charlie (Kaylee Defer), was the real actress in the family! It was shoking to see that innocent little Charlie was actually hired by her hypocritical mother in order to regain the family fortune. Back in New York, a newly single Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) convinced Chuck to go on a hedonistic summer trip around the globe while Dan Humphrey's (Penn Badgley) oldest friend went behind his back and found an editor to anonymously publish his autobiographical novel, "Inside." It is rumoured that Season Five will open in the City of Angels when a reenergized Chuck and Nate decide to pay Serena a visit. Back home, Blair learns that planning a royal wedding can be a royal pain, and Dan discovers the ramifications of writing candidly about his closest friends. Finally, the surprise return of cousin Charlie will threaten to yet again, destroy the Van Der Woodsen family from within. Watch out Upper East Siders, this season nobody's safe, and everybody's going to be sorry.
XOXO,
Gossip Girl.

Live Life Like a Gossip Girl

Living like a gossip girl has never been easier. Now anyone who has a little extra savings tucked away can party like Chuck Bass and drink cocktails inspired after favorite Gossip Girl characters. All one has to do is book the “Queen Bee Suite” at the hotel owned by Chuck Bass, The Empire Hotel, and experience the life of luxury just like the queen herself, Chuck Bass or any of the cast members of the hit show.
“The Empire”, as it’s referred by Chuck Bass himself, has seen a huge increase in sales since its debut on the show last autumn. “When the show's stars, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, are at the hotel filming, it isn't unusual for crowds of around 400 people to gather outside the hotel's entrance on West 63rd Street,” claims CNN entertainment reporter, Kate Ryan.
The crowds are no surprise, seeing as at The Empire Hotel one can watch their favourite characters’ favourite movies, read their favourite books and listen to their favourite music all the while lounging in silk pajamas. Available in-room are movies by Blair Waldorf's favourite idol, Audrey Hepburn, in addition to other cast favourites like Dead Poets Society (Nate's favourite), The Devil Wears Prada (Jenny's favourite) and books by JD Salinger (Dan's favourite) and Ernest Hemingway (Serena's favourite). If the character’s faves don’t excite, one can read up on news from fashion and the city that never sleeps with New York magazine, WWD and The New York Times.
At The Empire you can eat and drink like an Upper East Sider with an in-room dining and beverage menu available on request. This menu was inspired by the show including drink cocktails called “I'm Chuck Bass”, after the character’s famous pick-up line, “Georgina's Mind Eraser”, in reference to her villainous acts towards fan-favourite Serena, and “XOXO”, the show’s own catchphrase, and when one gets hungry, Gossip Girl favorites like macaroons, croissants, chocolate and strawberries, and grilled cheese are always available.
Without a doubt the publicity that Gossip Girl has provided is the best thing that could ever happen for The Empire Hotel, and it does not hurt the show to have wealthy, international business people and tourists ordering cocktails and room service in accordance to the CW hit. Seeing as the hotel has a long contract with the television show, we will definitely be seeing more of “The Empire” and it’s luxurious, modern, and sophisticated style on everybody’s favourite show.
“You know you love me”,
XOXO

Gossip Girl and W Magazine Team up for a Chance of a Lifetime Contest!

Recently on Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf has become the new W intern and along with her witty comments and her famous “take-down” schemes comes her hot intern style. Her look has become the new rave in intern-land and she is truly an inspiration to the entire fashion world.  W’s Jeanine Celeste Pang commented on Blair’s style on behalf of the magazine; “We especially loved the sweet top, floating with rhinestone and pearl daisy appliqués. Blouses in barely-there fabrics are great for festive occasions, especially when embellished with a hint of fun and wit – think flower appliqués, paillettes, and lace embroidery. W’s Associate Market Editor, Garrett Munce says “A sheer top is a great versatile feminine piece that is flirty without being too sexy.” W has not only offered up their offices for the filming of the popular TV show, they have also teamed up with Gossip Girl to create the contest of a lifetime! All you have to do is sign to a year’s subscription with W and you are automatically entered to win airfare and hotel stay for two in New York City to get a tour of W's editorial offices, styled and photographed in W's photo studio and a $5,000 shopping spree with one of W's style editors!
